Best Tesla road-trip accessories

A trip list is four problems: charge at a hotel J1772, lift the car without crushing a battery pack, hide the clutter, and keep the cargo hole from turning into a gravel tray. We already rank those. This page just points at the right aisles.

Pick your Tesla first. Cargo and under-seat bins are generation-specific even when the adapter is not.

Charging away from a Supercharger

The #1 on charging is Lectron’s J1772 → NACS adapter (UL 2252, about $50, seen Aug 13, 2026). AC only. Not DC, not CCS, not a Supercharger dongle. Tesla’s own J1772 adapter is the OEM pick if you still have it or want it from Tesla Shop. The Mobile Connector is a different product — a portable EVSE, not an adapter.

Jack pads before a shop lift

Roadside #1 is Spigen’s four-puck set ($38.99, 4.6 from 127, seen Aug 13, 2026). That is cheap insurance before a tire shop puts a pad in the wrong place. Tesla’s tire kit 3.0 is the compressor / sealant box, not a jack-pad substitute. We do not invent a Fanttik ASIN to fill a hole.

Under-seat and cargo

Organizers are not universal. Juniper #1 is Spigen’s under-seat bin. Legacy Y #1 is BASENOR under-seat. Highland 3 #1 is Zanch’s rear-vent bin. 2017–23 Model 3 #1 is BASENOR CA233. Cargo is the same split: LASFIT Juniper, LASFIT legacy-Y frunk, Tesla Highland trunk, Mixsuper 2017–23 3. A “fits every 3/Y trunk” liner is the listing we ignore.

What this page is not

Not a camping mattress guide — that is camping (Snuuzu 3 and Y are different SKUs). Not a “road-trip bundle” we invented. If you want the shortlist for your year, use Your 3Y List or the hub for Juniper, legacy Y, Highland, or 2017–23 3.

How we rank. Fitment first, then install, durability, value. We don’t take free units. We do not claim hands-on testing of every SKU. Method.
