Direction matters. Tesla owners plugging into public or home J1772 need J1772 → NACS. The other way (NACS → J1772) is for non-Tesla cars using a Tesla connector. Those are opposite adapters. Do not mix them up.

J1772 → NACS for Tesla owners. UL 2252 certified (Feb 2026). 80A AC. Fits any Tesla NACS (S/3/X/Y/Cybertruck). Lectron’s site listed $45.99.
Caveat. New certified SKU, few Amazon reviews. Check the frunk — Tesla’s own J1772 adapter may already be in the car. Not DC / Supercharger / CCS.
