The 3Y List

Honest rankings for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y accessories.

About

Who we are.

The 3Y List is a small independent ranking site for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y accessories. Paper and ink, not a store. We already own the cars. We rank the stuff that actually helps, with caveats in plain language.

There is no staff page and no headshots. It is a ranking sheet run by people who drive a 3 or a Y, argue about fitment, and get annoyed by “fits all 2017–2026” listings that do not.

Not Tesla. Not affiliated with Tesla, Inc. Not Amazon. Not a dealer. Rankings here are ours. Tesla does not review, endorse, or sponsor this site.

How we rank.

Four things, in this order. We don’t take free units for rank.

1. Fitment

If it doesn’t fit the generation, nothing else matters. Kits are generation-specific: legacy 3 (2017–23), Highland 3 (2024–26), legacy Y (2020–early 2025), Juniper Y (2025–26). Standard Juniper often needs different kits than Premium. A listing that says it fits every 3 and Y from 2017 through 2026 is usually wrong, and we treat it that way.

2. Install

Can a normal owner do it without a lift, a harness splice, or a YouTube rabbit hole? Alignment trays, clip-in organizers, and drop-in mats beat anything that wants you to peel the dash. Hard install is a penalty, not a personality.

3. Durability

Will it still look and work after a winter of salt, a summer of heat, and daily use? Review volume and real SKUs beat a pretty listing with twelve five-star writeups that all arrived the same week. We note when a product is new and the sample is thin.

4. Value

Price last, not first. Cheap is fine when the product is right. Expensive is fine when fitment and durability earn it. We would rather send you to Tesla Shop or a brand’s own site, with no commission, than rank a worse Amazon option because it pays.
