Caveats before you buy

Mini ≠ Gen3 Standard / Performance dish. These mounts are dimensioned for Starlink Mini. Do not imply fitment for the full rectangular Gen3 dish.
Glass roof ≠ magnet roof. Model 3/Y panoramic glass and most aluminum panels will not hold magnetic feet. Interior suction under glass is the Tesla-shaped answer.
Suction fails in heat / dirty glass. Cups can release in sun or collect dust. Clean glass; re-seat cups; don’t leave unattended if exterior.
Paint / clearcoat risk (magnets & exterior suction). Grit under rubber-coated magnets scratches paint. Prefer interior glass when possible.
Cybertruck is its own problem. Some brands list CT as not magnet-compatible. Owners still suction under glass (ContronX write-ups). Newer IR-blocking CT roof glass may hurt interior Mini speeds — treat as CT-specific, not 3/Y gospel. See the Cybertruck hub.

Will a Starlink Mini mount fit a Gen3 Standard dish?

No. Mini and Gen3 Standard / Performance are different sizes. Buy Mini-labeled mounts only for Mini.

Will magnets stick to my Model Y glass roof?

No. Panoramic glass and most aluminum panels are not a magnet surface. Use interior suction under glass.

Do suction cups fail in heat?

They can. Clean glass, re-seat cups, and expect more failures in sun. Industrial / pump cups (e.g. Veritas suction attachment) are the premium path if stock gel cups disappoint.

What about Cybertruck?
