Do you need a Tesla screen protector?
If fingerprints and glare bother you, yes — and only the size that matches the glass. A Highland 15.4" kit will not fit a pre-refresh 15" car.

What it actually does
The center screen is a fingerprint and glare magnet. A tray-aligned glass kit (Spigen EZ Fit on the cars we rank) is a cheap, reversible layer. It is not structural. It will not save a smashed screen. It will hide smudges if you buy matte, and stay clearer if you buy glossy.
Rear 8" is a separate kit on Highland 3 and Juniper Prem / Perf. Standard Juniper has no rear screen. Pre-refresh 3 and Y have no 8" rear screen.
Size first
15.4" is not 16" is not 15". Measure the glass or read the car’s software/hardware screen size. 2026 Juniper Standard glass size is unverified on this site — do not assume 15.4". Model Y L uses the same front screen family as Juniper. Confirm 15.4" vs 16" on the card.
