Tesla model changes that affect accessory fitment
Floor, glass, dash, console, and wheelbase changed at different years. A listing that says it fits every 3 and Y from 2017 through 2026 is usually wrong.

How the years map
Model 3 2017–23 is legacy. Model 3 2024–26 is Highland. Model Y splits three ways below: original body, Juniper, and Model Y L. Juniper Standard is often a different interior kit than Premium / Performance. Those caveats stay on the product cards.
Legacy Model 3 (2017–23)
Floor. Original-body tub. Highland mats will not sit right. Ranked #1 is TuxMat for 2017–23 only.
Glass. 2017–20 sunshade is KUNIST. 2021–23 is its own kit. Neither is Highland.
Dash. 15" center screen. A Highland 15.4" kit will not fit. No rear 8".
Console / stalks. Original-body bin. Still has stalks. S3XY Knob is Highland / Juniper only.
Highland Model 3 (2024–26)
Floor. New tub. Not 2017–23, not Model Y. Tesla liners, 3D MAXpider, TuxMat each have a Highland SKU.
Glass. Highland-only roof shade. A Juniper Y shade will not fit.
Dash. 15.4" center screen. Rear 8" on Prem / Perf. Stalkless. Deeper console, shared with Juniper Prem / Perf trays.

Original body Model Y (2020–early 2025)
Floor. Original Y footwell. Juniper kits fail this floor. TuxMat is the ranked #1.
Glass. Original-body Y shade. A Juniper or Highland shade will not fit.
Dash. 15" center screen — same family as 2017–23 Model 3. No rear 8". No verified dash-gap clip; MagBak is tape-on bezel only.
A 2025 Y can still be this body. Do not assume 2025 means Juniper.
Juniper (2025–26, 5-seat)
Floor. New driver footwell. Original-body Y kits fail it. Standard is not Premium — 3W Thorex does not fit 2026 Standard; LASFIT has the verified Standard full set.
Glass. Juniper 5-seat roof shade only.
Dash. 15.4" on many 2025 cars; 16" on Prem / Perf. Rear 8" is Prem / Perf only. 2026 Standard glass size is unverified — measure. YONZEE clips the Juniper dash gap.
Not Y L. Five-seat body. Floor, cargo, and most interior kits need a different cut on the 6-seat long-wheelbase.

Model Y L (2026, 6-seat long-wheelbase)
Model Y L is the longer six-seat version of the Juniper-era Model Y. Some accessories need a Y L-specific cut.
Wheelbase. About +166mm versus the 5-seat Model Y. That is why floor and cargo are their own cuts.
Floor / cargo / arches. Teslaunch TPE floor + cargo and TESMAG TPE are maker-listed for the 6-seat. Tesstudio mud flaps are maker-listed for Y L 2026.06+. 5-seat 3W, LASFIT, and REEVAA will not sit here.
Dash / front cabin. Same Juniper console and screen family. Confirm 15.4" vs 16" on the card. Dash-gap mounts that fit Juniper fit Model Y L unless excluded. Sunshade and sills stay Y L-specific.
Third row. Third-row floor is not a 5-seat cargo liner. Tesla Shop Y L mats/shades are rolling in some markets; we will add a US link when the live US product page exists. We are not inventing a shop.tesla.com URL.

What does not change
J1772 → NACS adapters are the same port. Cabin-filter two-packs and jack pads that fit Juniper fit Model Y L unless a card says otherwise. Confirm puck size (~24 mm on older cars, ~19 mm on some 2024–26). Wheel covers follow wheel size, not trim, until a maker lists a Y L cover.
