Best dashboard phone mount.

This is a phone mount, not a screen protector. Two different jobs: YONZEE clips into the Highland Model 3 / Juniper Model Y dash gap (no adhesive). MagBak tapes to the screen bezel and charges (Qi2.2, pick the SKU for your screen). Legacy 3/Y has no verified dash-gap clip — MagBak is the bezel option there.

Clip vs tape. YONZEE slides into the refresh dash gap — no adhesive, no drilling, no tools. MagBak is 3M/tape on the bezel, not that clip. MagSafe or a MagBak / MagSafe case required. An adhesive-base YONZEE is a different product — we are not ranking it.

MagBak sells separate SKUs: Model Y 2025+ Standard vs 2026+ Premium & Performance (their screen-size page: if delivered before Jan 15, 2026 pick 2025+ Standard). Highland 3 and older 3/Y have their own screen options. Do not treat one SKU as every 3/Y.

Caveat. 3M/tape on the screen bezel. Cable routing on Juniper is fiddlier than legacy (owner reviews). Not the YONZEE dash-gap mount. Needs a MagSafe phone or MagBak / MagSafe case. Pick the MagBak variant for your screen (15.4 vs 16).

MagSafe / magnetic ring

The magnet is the hold. MagSafe iPhones (or a MagSafe / MagBak case) snap on. Other phones need a magnetic ring or magnetic case. No ring, no stick. YONZEE’s base is silicone with a 360° ball joint; clip/slide into the Highland 3 / Juniper Y dash gap — still no adhesive. MagBak is a different install: tape on the bezel, Qi2.2 charging up to 25W, aluminum.

Legacy Model 3 / Y

The refresh dash gap is not the legacy dash. 2017–23 Model 3 and 2020–early 2025 Model Y are a hole for YONZEE’s clip-in. Do not buy that SKU for a pre-refresh car. MagBak sells legacy 3 (2017–23) and legacy Y (2020–24) variants — still 3M/tape on the bezel, still pick that screen SKU, still not a dash-gap clip.
